Mark originally built Sheer Genius from his Vespa in 1993 and it was featured in Scootering magazine at the time. As the years went by it got the usual wears and tears and needed a revamp, which was carried out in 2003.

The revised model again featured in Scootering in December 2005 (back copies available HERE).

On the day of the photoshoot MUTV (Manchester United Television) did a piece on the scooter and the club gave Mark an “access all areas” pass for Old Trafford and a personal security guard to keep the over enthusiastic Japanese tourists at bay!

The scooter is regularly seen on Ginger’s Egg Run in Lowton, Lancashire and around Dublin, and features a DVD player and CD player and has cost a disgracefully large amount of money!
